The Sunbury Fire Brigade is located in the Hume City Council and Hume is located in CENTRAL Fire District.

Fire restrictions for Hume City Council have been lifted for 2011.

Hume City Council have a Zero Tolerance policy this year for illegal fires during fire restrictions.
